Anyone have some dead bonsai sitting around or headed for the trash? Let me give your tree a second life. I'm looking for some small dead bonsai trees for use as aquarium driftwood moss trees. Most hardwoods should be serviceable. Let me know.

Here's the dead bonsai qwade sent starting it's second life. The moss has to grow in some more and I'm redoing the carpet plants in the tank soon but it looks pretty nice already imo. Thanks qwade.

I have 2 dead bonsai trees, unfortunately, and would love to sell them instead to throwing out!

Wouldn't the wood rot in the water? Have couple of freshwater tanks but mostly stone and regular driftwood. How.manyndaysnof soaking did tree take to sink ?
