Since starting the bonsai journey, my view of the natural landscape has forever changed. This Shakan style sits right outside of my workplace, among many other beautiful pines. I'm sure each and every one of you notice some beauties on your daily drives or in nature, which, while ever so beautiful, ain't going nowhere!

No worries. This can be the, "I wish it was possible," thread.

Went out to test my spranged ankle the other day (it sorta passed) and found these.

And that's just a sample of the buffet.
I'm always amazed by how these piñons find a way to grow in such extreme spots. I see it every day, but it never ceases to fascinate me.
Seriously, how do the seeds even get into some of these places?

Took a short hike with the dog yesterday, and felt this might be a more appropriate thread since none of them are giant.
Actually the biggest one is still shorter than me by allot.
