I collected this Juniper from a cutting job I was on last year. Suggestions welcomed for design ideas.

Planning on the first wiring next year to give this a full 2 year recovery period from collection.

My initial thoughts are to lean it for a repot angle change and wire it into a wind inspired tree. It came off a very steep mountain side with already leaning down slope from small rick slides in the area.

I’d go with a cascade or semi cascade. You said that’s what it was doing when you found it.

There’s no deadwood to provide interest for an upright tree. As a cascade, it would look more like it did when you you found it.

Thanks for that... I'm not opposed to creating some deadwood. Some branches will definetely need to be removed. Here is a pic representing the original angle I found it growing.
