Hello Friends,

I bought this European Larch last week and its leaves are all yellow. The seller says the tree was green when it left him? Is it possible that the tree stayed in its carton packing for a longer time due to postal delays, that this discoloration has happened?

What is the best way to get it back to green?

Please advise.

Thanks

Can you post photos so we can advise you better? Where did you order it from?

Looks as if its been kept in the dark a long time! did you order it before Easter and it got delayed in the post?
I would keep it in a sheltered spot out of strong sun and freezing winds for a short period and hope that it greens up.

My main concern is weather it will ever green up?

Color is subjective... yellow, green... yellow-green...

my larch comes out a bit pale green in spring...

So let it go and observe. If it stops extending and elongating, then you can shift into worry mode!
