Hello All,

This pass week I have been at Yosemite National Park and I tried to take pictures when possible that some may draw inspiration from.

Here are those photos:

I've done a lot of hiking but have never been to Yosemite. Gotta head up there some day....

Manzanitas are really awesome trees. Tons of em here in the Southern California mountains. I read a Golden Statements article on them and a few threads but generally they seem pretty finicky. Not an easy tree for bonsai cultivation.

Not easy but want one or two yet. Believe Kinnikinnik is fairly easy and small leaves to boot;).

Wonderful. I was there in '83 and loved the place.
