Looking to see if if any one knows a source for young flexible BRTs I want to try making them literati and everything I am finding even in the pre bonsai ( local and on line) is pretty stiff and motionless. Looking to see if there is a source for them when the trunks are still 1/4" or so.

I really should try taking cuttings of mine when I do a cut back

They are also easy from seed. Might set you back a year, but you'll have full control.
Here is my one year old with the kitchen counter for scale. Dark outside and it's still asleep...
You gave me an idea ;)

I often stick pruned branches in a pot of soil (or even a jar of water) and invariably a couple (to several) of them root.

Let me know next time you plan to come down to the Cape as I may have something to offer or pick up a Brazilian Rain Tree from New England Bonsai in Bellingham and strike your own cuttings.

You can try New England Bonsai.
I sold some to them a few months ago, but doubt they would still have them.
If not, i'm not too far from you and have a few here if you want to pm me. None are really straight.
