Cannibalism - Cutting down trees to make room for more benches

Just had 4 more large trees removed from my property to make room for more benches and provide more sunlight. I feel kinda bad.

No worries, they'll grow back.

I have weed trees in my yard I didn't get to remove while young. Now I have to spend serious money to get rid of them. Too much shade.

Don't sweat it, you will appreciate the space/light. I am trying to maintain niwaki(garden trees) so I can keep my all day sun.

Ice storms have rid me of all of our awful Bradford Pears, and unfortunately 2 huge, old weeping willows. We have a really big yard, so I have plenty of space for the little trees. My husband does threaten to take down our southern magnolia, because it's a PITA dropping all the giant leaves, but that's not going to happen.....
