Chumono
Current:
The tree was residing in a large pot for the last 9 years. It was never repotted. Due to the poor soil it was in, root quality and quantity was lack luster.
It’s main trunk died off a few years ago, but low, buried branches ground layered and survived.
Before:
I repotted the tree into miracle grow cactus mix. 15-20% of roots were removed. No foliage was removed but one branch was guyed with aluminum wire. One “tree” was leaning away from the front and over the snag so a chopstick and block were used to move it.
A hole was drilled into the snag to insert the chopstick.
