I've been there, I just wanted to get out of the house as fast as possible and leave all my shit. My family was tough with me and helped me get everything I deserved like the money I put into her house and all the things she was trying to hide so I'd forget to take them with. I'm over in the Bremerton area and I'd happily take some of your trees off of you.
I have a former coworker/friend who is a veteran who recently moved to Florida. He practices bonsai as well. So if that place is on your list of places to jump ship to, I'm sure I can link you two up. I hope you have some friends or fellow vets who will open up their garage and hear you out.

I’m glad that it sounds like you’re not giving up on the hobby, and hope you can keep your tools, a few trees, and start to rebuild the collection. I’m in the area, so I’ll take a look tomorrow at this thread to see what I’m interested in and can give you a fair price for.

I will do that when the sun comes up. But I can tell you it’s a fused trunk. Started with about 15-20 seedlings, stuck in a 6” nursery pot for a long time. This spring I bare rooted it, cut the roots back to a nice flat, radial disk and then planted it in this tray. I did a heavy clean out of the trunk, removed dead seedlings and it’s split into two about halfway up. It’s still a work in progress

I know, I hear you all, we’ve been married 23 years, add two more for dating and that’s a long time to just walk away from. About 4 months ago we had a major life discussion about our life together and we decided we were going to make our life together better. Not sure how 3 different wieners, one of which is or rather was my boss’s helps make our life better, but there it is. I haven’t told her that I found out yet because she’s meeting one on Friday so I’m just going to pop in to say hello.

And everyone doesn’t have to worry about me, I’m pretty level headed about this for some reason. I’m not going to kill myself or hurt myself. I don’t even own any weapons. I love my trees and I’ve had some of them a long long time. I can’t take them all with me so I’d like to pass them on to people who can appreciate them as I have.

These ones caught my eye (the grow box maple specifically in the last pic).
I know some of these had first "dibs", but my replay just has the attachments so I don't know which is which currently. So I'll yield claim to them.
I am available to drop by Friday and Sunday for sure. Saturday depends on if work needs me or not. (Maybe coordinate with Panda so you don't have to repeat yourself as often on the trees).

The grow box maple is a birch. All the maples you chose are available except for 514464, but I have to get pics of that one for someone this morning.
