I have a bag of mostly fresh Kinzu (Fortunella hindsii) fruit, for anybody that wants to grow them from seed. I can divide it up if multiple people are interested.

I also have about 60 one year old seedlings that will be ready for wire soon, that I can ship wrapped in sphagnum moss.

If youre interested shoot me a PM. I don't really have a price in mind for the fruit, I just don't want them to go to waste.

I can confirm they fruit, from seed, in less than 5 years, more like 3 years. The one in a training pot I *think* is about 4 years old now.

Joe,
Very nice of you to offer this. I am interested in three seedlings. Please let me know how much you want for that. I do want some seeds as well which we have already PM each other about.
Thanks,
NN

Hi Joe - Do you still have kinzu seeds or seedlings? Thanks, jakob

I tried growing from seed with no luck. I struck three cuttings last year and they all took though.

Hi Joe,
can u write more about baby kinzu wiring?

Yes I do, shoot me a PM and I can get you set up!
Not sure why but I get an error when trying to send you PM on this site. Is there another way to handle this...

U got me interested here, i can get my hands on bag of fruit locally quite cheap. Could be next year project with wiring if they start grow from seeds.
For now i can practice wiring on other citrus species i grow - got few 4-8" tall plants

Other citrus have more coarse growth than these, the kinzus finer branches wire better. But you definitely can learn on others. Local shops sell the fruit? They are arguably edible but 80% seed so that's interesting you can buy them

Also I realized you cannot send a PM because you are too new of a member, I think you need a higher post count first.

I get the info few days ago about "very tiny oranges" available from friends who collect citrus seeds for me
My guess is they are kinzu (or other kumquat) Still worth a try to grow them if i find seeds (seeds in citrus are not common thing here)

I got some from @JoeR and had 98% germination rate, taking his advice to rub off the seed coat.

Good advice.

I put in zero effort since I had 100% success rate with cuttings. I just took the seeds and buried them. Usually I cant stop citrus from growing from seed. I once buried an entire calomondin orange and it grew.
