This is my second Hinoki and I can already see some issues that seemed to have come up in the last few days. I’ve only had it roughly for two months. Should I trim some of the brown off?

No it’s outdoors on a 2nd floor balcony.

Close up of the soil would help. From what is shown soil looks like it is a bit mucky. Might be a watering issue given the timeline
