you guys see the polls that have a third party candidate possibly winning Utah? some of my religious friends are voting for that guy, they're conservative but can't stand Trump. seems a lot of Mormons feel the same way.

the two-party system is bullshit and fptp perpetuates it. I would love to see an end to the dem/GOP domination of American politics. isn't more competition supposed to be good?

imo ranked voting would be a better system and people wouldn't feel like they have to vote for the "lesser evil"

Both parties like it the way it is. They know whats best for all of us you just need to trust them.

Mormons don't like Trump because he criticized Romeny and dissed Glen Beck, the two fair-haired boys of the Mormon elite in this country. I was raised around those people being born in Utah. In fact I am a distant relative of Brigham Young by way of one of his many wives---and in that line is where our American Indian ancestry comes from.
 
Trump is going to upset the cushy you scrub my back and I'll suck yours and we'll both screw the little guy cart. They don't like that. People die, that do that to this bunch, of congenital suicide syndrom. I just hate those people with those kinds of immoral backgrounds some of these people have, claiming that Trump is a reprobate.

It could be that the information that is floating around out there may expose some of that. You can possible walk away from doinking everything that moves and emailing government items of a top secret nature, but murder is an entirely different thing----just saying. Hopefully we have not degenerated to the point where we can try to argue that point, accept its reality and elect this beast anyway. Then before God the judgement is on us.

These people don't ever do what they say or promise unless it is to raise taxes, they just make these quasi-threats-promises to leave the country if _fill in the blank_____wins. Then they hunker down and stay. Then rot like a piece of raw meat and stink up the place at first opportunity.

You most definitely are on the right track. Seen Obama was pondering leaving the states if Trump got elected. Now, he's changed his direction...and sounds like he isn't going anywhere.

I'm 3.125% Native American, 96.875% invader/immigrant. Don't think it's particularly relevant, however.

There is literally nothing wrong, hypocritical or inconsistent with either of these two viewpoints:

(i) Being an immigrant or a descendant of immigrants and yet believing that it would be prudent for the country to tighten its immigration policies or limit immigration from certain populations.
(ii) Being an immigrant or a descendant of immigrants and yet believing that illegal immigration should be treated as a violation of law, and that such immigrants should not be permitted to remain.

There is no law, moral code or logical requirement that says that your status as an immigrant or the offspring of an immigrant compels you to always be pro-immigrant and pro-immigration under all circumstances.
 
No, correct. There's no law against it.

I don't agree and I do find it morally hypocritical. They say the second generation immigrants are the worst - because they try so hard to fit in. And if that means hating on immigrants, then that's what they'll do.

Because Democrats and progressives think just becuase they are Democrats and progressives with this superior moral high and mighty standard that they can live with impunity and not be held to the same standard we lowly unwashed are required to be part of a moral humanity. That way they can go about and curse everybody who flys in airplanes polluting the atmosphere while they are allowed to fly about all over the world polluting the atmosphere with impunity. After all; they have to be allowed to do some of these things because their message to the rest of us is so important they can be forgiven for violating their own mandates.
