Your leaves look like my old sweetgum tree. I bought it as "Oriental Sweetgum Liquidambar." I looked up sweetgum leaves and see images of both.I have a sweetgum that has been growing for a while and the leaves look different. That is a vigorous tree though!
This is the only picture I have of the leaves but you get the idea. Larger ones keep the same shape.

Thanks @miker . Good to know.The tree in the photos posted by c54fun in post 22 is Liquidambar orientalis, the Oriental sweetgum. The trees in posts 23 and 24 are Liquidambar styracyflua, the American sweetgum.
Yes its popping good. I bought a decent dawn redwood to work on that I was concerned it was near dead when I got it late last year. Its sprouting all over now. Love seeing new growth in the spring.Looking awesome so far. Looks like your garden is popping!
I don't see many sweetgum's. Have to check his out. I had a really nice one that died. Lesson learned.@ColinFraser has some awesome sweetgum, you should see them!
