That's some growth.... Mine are still much smaller. Are you growing these outside or inside using heating mat?

I did start inside on a mat very early, they have been outside for around 1 month. My dog just crushed them all yesterday chasing a chipmunk. I had soaked them January 1, planted on the 2nd, no cold stratification, so I had a considerable head start for the initial growth.

Will have to wait and see if I can salvage any of them...

Woah that growth is impressive! It seems a heat mat is a huge improvement.

Most survived the dog tumble. Decandled a few, crushed a few. Here's my jbp herd today. The 3 in the small black plastic pots are the only cuttings I have left, the ones in the large container and twins in the terra cotta pots were never root pruned 20180826_163947.jpg20180826_163947.jpg20180826_164009.jpg20180826_164025.jpg

One of my strongest plants has a cluster of buds, would it be advised to go ahead and reduce these?20180929_105918.jpg

I've still got a few of these trucking along, it has certainly been fun to play along and learn. The largest is about 26" tall, 3/4" trunk. 20201031_142014.jpg

Yeah, just a little off your action, luckily the tree didn't fall toward my benches. These in the ground just got thrashed with the limbs. Probably an 80' tall poplar
