Felicia amelloides

Sorry, As usually, nurserie tagged wrongly this spices.
This is not a felicia amelloides, but a coprosma kirkii variegata. A very suitable species for bonsai .

Update and horticultural question
I think I'm closer to my compactation goal with this coprosma kirkii variegata:

The question:
This coprosma kirkii non variegated is growing by the side of the variagated (about 1" from the trunk). It appeared 3 weeks ago.

Now, there is no reason I can think of, for this to be growing there.
This is my only coprosma, and had never flowered or produced seeds. Also it's been in that pot for the last 9 months.
So, it must be a sucker? ....And that should mean that it has reverted to a non variegated coprosma?

Yeah it looks like a reverted sucker. You could cut it off or keep it as a sacrificial.

I think you will notice I'm trying to make a triangle here. I still need to grow the top angle, but I'm coming to a good compactation....
