Next up, my first successful BRT cuttings. Hopefully they'll keep chugging along. I'll have to be bringing them in pretty soon, so we'll see how that goes. brt cuttings.jpgbrt cuttings2.jpg

I'm going to use this thread to keep track of my little guys. First up, my miracle seedlings from seeds so kindly sent to me by @Clicio that spent two years wandering around the world before they made their way to me.View attachment 457037View attachment 457038
I am SOOOO HAPPY that they have sprouted! Very very very happy indeed!
Brazilians are tough!

Wheee more rain trees and…TWO YEARS?! Was that true to word snail mail?
Let´s put it this way: I have posted them from Brazil in the first year of Covid; the envelope was tiny; mail speed was reduced because of the lockdown; and the same was happening in the USA.
But we (me and @Carol 83 ) had lost all hope when they eventually arrived at her door!

Don't suppose you can send me a seed
I would be happy to send you a few but the germination rate has been rather low, perhaps my fault, I don't know.

I think I had also low germination. 5 plants out of a packet of seeds.

Last year I have sowed them later into the spring, much warmer weather. The germination rate was much better, and in the end I am giving them away to friends as I have too many seedlings right now.
