I think I'm ready to show my prize juniper, "Japheth". My avatar pic. I would like to clean, polish, and enhance it's live vein. It's there any reason to not use some linseed oil for this? Any other show prep suggestions are also welcome!

Anyone have any ideas on styling this beast? I'm leaning to windswept, because of the lopsided foliage and preexisting directional growth. Could possibly also do some grafting, just not sure I wanted to go to the trouble. Planning on a lot of carving.

I just repotted a bougainvillea and reduced the root mass tremendously. There are still a great deal of small roots but not fine roots. Does anyone have a recommendation on care at this point? Shall I reduce foliage? Tent? I would appreciate tips from you bougie experts.

Hope to see great things with this! Probably won't see a lot of growth this year but hopefully next year. This was collected in what I would call a high mountain desert area of Central Utah.
