Japanese maple, crispy leaves, too much sun?

Ive got one Japanese maple that's been in a small nursery container until a few days ago when I slip potted into a larger pot because it needed a better anchor from wind. I've noticed small leaves growing that are getting burnt/crispy, is this a lack of water, too much sun or potting problem?

    New trees. Wiring/cutting to start.

Got these new trees. Wondering most about the acer palmatum on wiring or if to cut shorter. I'm looking to do small bonsai with most but would like to grow the maple at the height it is. Should I cut it and/or wire branches flatter vs. verticle?

    New red pines

Hi there everybody, here are some of my red pines I have started from seed in October. I have them inside under a florescent light and I just added a fan on very slow speed for airflow. I noticed most of the trees are turning brown/yellow on the tips of the needles...I'm guessing they are not...
