JAPANESE BLACK PINE SEEDLING CUTTINGS. These have the finest color about them when they get into the sunshine!! I gave one dose of a higher nitrogen ( ammonia nitrogen) fertilizer also with some vitamin B Magnesium sulphate. Greened them right up.

Wow thanks everyone!! I just put the remainder of them outside today since Spring seems to have arrived……night should be above 40 degrees F for now on. I will fill the growhouse with deciduous seedlings in a few days.

Make sure roots do not get too warm……..and water with a cooler water………68-75 F roots

THE SIBERIAN ELM IS OUTSOORS RESTING ALREADY IN FULL LEAF!!! A nice early start since January in the growhouse. I just place it in a sheltered are under my home that does not freeze when cold outside.

GREAT COLOR. I opened the door to the growhouse today and noticed the sun shining on them.An instant tranformation to a dark blue. The sun and the lights are definate different hue for sure. Happy with these though.

I would definitely mess around with that if I could get a matures Zuisho from a nursery or even the seeds, but I think it might be a bit too warm and humid in my area but a healthy start does wonders you’d be surprised
