Just picked up this tree yesterday, it has, this huge bulbous scar, in a place that it’s not good. Will the willow leaf ficus respond to simply carving it down and not allowing new growth to form there, which would obviously lead to the same thing happening again?

Anyone working with the Portulacaria afra ‘LILLIPUT' cultivar? Apparently the leaves are even smaller and they are rapid growers. Hoping to find some cuttings at least. Apparently they can be found at Home Depot, but I’ve had no luck as of yet.
