I bought one of these as well. Mine's actually in a heavy peat moss mixture and not their standard soil. I was told they were repotted within the last year so I'm leaving mine alone for a few years. I had the same inclination though when I got mine to put it in some kanuma. I'm not even sure...

Any ideas? I have tried multiple times to contact the North American Satsuki Bonsai Center with no luck. They do have nice Satsuki azaleas listed for sale but not sure how to purchase them or to obtain an account to log in. Any other places selling decent satsuki? Thanks!

So I got this pinus densiflora 'Oculis Draconis' "Dragons Eye" at Home Depot for $15 due to some broken branches toward the top. Is this specific variety of JRP even suitable for bonsai? Wasn't sure what variety most JRP bonsai are Any ideas? I'm in way over my head with pines still but...

Making fert cakes this year before the flies are out. One day of sunny high temps then unanticipated cloudiness and cooler weather today so I had to improvise to finish drying them. Apparently I'm the only one in the household that thought it was a good idea....

So in a weak moment of stupidity at 1am after some good Scotch I bought this Chinese Wisteria and now have buyer's remorse. I (slip) repotted it today but do not know what to do with it now. Any ideas? Or, I'll gladly sell it.
