Honestly i dont know. The printing is easy, the hard part its the paining that takes hours.
you can pick up a decent 3d printer for 200 to 350. If you do get one learn to print with PETG it holds up to elements and heat better.
Also thanks for your kind words im glad you like it
Just an FYI my hinoki was outside and got down to -10C multiple times. Tips went a bit brown i did bring it in and to be honest its doing really fricken good inside under full spectrum light and mist twice a day. its grown alot in the past month and a half its been inside. ( i do think the 2.5...

I have been watching lots of vids and had them before just never this issue or this old of a plant. I watered it and under good set of lights
Thank you for validating this. I read on a couple places they shrivel and fall off as well from over watering and then people make the mistake of keep adding water because they think its from not enough lol.
I did give it a good watering ill see how it looks in the morning.
Thanks
yeah i know i have read all the same stuff. its funny because i messaged a guy who only does Dwarf Jades and he said that my mix of pumice, lava , DE and bark is way to course and i need alot more organics. he also said to water it well.
I think its in shock and also thirsty. i watered it good...
Hey all just a question for you.
This is a PA I just bought and it was sold with out a pot. He gave it to me In a Gritty but wet mix. I originally put it in that pot with the mix for a day till I got my regular bonsai mix ( pumice ,lava,DE and bark) it's root ball wasn't huge but it did have...
Thanks I like this style as well and plan on a nice round pot eventually. I will have to figure how to message on here and get your info, I plan on doing some yamadori collecting this spring for larch and local juniper , I'd be down to have some people to go with.
Hey all.
I was playing around trying to figure out where to take this. I'd love to see your drawings or iterations on where this could go.
The one is just kind of an idea but I will be playing around more.
Thanks for looking
And happy holidays everyone.
Hey all...
Seen this PA for sale he wanted 200 with a pot. I didn't like it cascade and I didn't realize how big it was. So i ended up buying it for 100 bucks woth out the pot and put it informal upright in this red pot.
I'm so fricken happy I can't wait to develop this into a massive beauty...
Thank you, I also added a bit of rooting hormone. I'll put a clear bag over it. And in the sun? I was worried it may suffer in the sun after being tampered with so much
Here are some beautiful larch I collected.
My first time really doing yamadori.
Some collected pictures and then wired pictures.
And a picture of what I hope to achieve with the one.
Thanks for looking
Hey all,
Had a lady needing a tree removed so I gladly took the job as I wanted some bonsai material. I believe it to be a wych elm or similar. I wasn't going to trunk chop it yet but it broke pulling it out as the tap root was crazy in there.
Has about a 20 inch circumference.
Thanks for your reply.
I think my tree was settling in and pushing new growth. I have full spectrum lights on it about 12 hours a day and it just won’t stop growing now.
Well I used diluted 3% and it definitely cut them down a lot. I found the yellow sticky tape to catch them but it wasn’t enough I needed to get the larva. I’m going to wait it out a couple weeks to a month and treat again.
I didn’t go half and half more like 1 to 3 or 4
I really appreciate...
I have been reading that hydrogen peroxide is ok ish on plants I just wanted to confirm and I use “the bonsai supply “ bonsai soil there is some bark but not much
