2 Bald Cypress from nursery stock

They are too heavy to move for good pictures but the one in the tub has a good leader with 2-3 small sprouts on the trunk. The smaller one has a dozen or so sprouts up and down the trunk with no clear leader. Plan is to leave them alone for a few more months at least.

The bigger one. It's too heavy to move for a good background for a picture.

I am just going to add to this thread. Stopped by Wigert's and saw they had a couple of project Bald Cypress up for the locals so I picked this one up.

I don't have any power tools so I worked the scar as much as I have the patience for with a Silky Boy saw and Knob Cutters. The plan is to let it run for the summer.

Updates on the two from Lowes. I really need to invest in a sawzall or power carving tools but my next investment is going to be a better camera.

It is deciduous tree clearance season at Lowe's in Florida! Trying a trunk split.
