2021 Shohin Contest from starter material Sputnik Japanese Hornbeam

These were prunings from my Japanese Hornbeam planted in the Autumn. Hopefully something will have rooted for me to grow on for the Broadleaf division. The buds on some of the cuttings seem to be swelling. Fingers crossed.

Repotted the cuttings. Some have been potted individually and some have been planted together in a tray for potential Shohin group/forest plantings. I need to keep my group plantings small now as I’m seriously running out of space.
