Well folks,

on Saturday, this tree as seedlings was given to the beginners -

Leucaena leucocephala

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leucaena_leucocephala

The tree has one very special property ------- it sheds the leaves every month.

The tree of defoliation ----------- ahhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
[ still looking for the tree of repotting :):D:eek::rolleyes:

So now they get to happily remove the leaves and not damage the tree.

As to invasive - shh - there is one other property ------------ dark brown hardwood
lumber --------- insects will not touch it.
When the Trinidadians discover that --- heaven help the poor tree ----------:eek:

Here is an image of one done for the Bonsai test.
We have since discovered that this tree has great potential.
Good Day
Anthony

* Oh yes, the leaves compost to around 2.4 N 1.4 P 0.6 K
very rich, just have to be aged to kill the tree seeds.
