Air-layering a liquidambar after collection

Did you do anything special to make the air layering work? I'll try it myself too soon.

Thank you. I think it’s because the tree was extremely vigorous.

I don’t think it hurt matters doing the air layer in an area of the US with one of the most mild weather conditions you could hope for but, still quite a feat! Nice job!
