Hi All,

I am posting this here because this forum (thank you @Bonsai Nut ) is among the routes by which I am contacted the most frequently about shipping to the USA

I have been shipping to the USA since 2018, but this was always done by email. As of May 10, 2025, at 10h00 ET the Canada Bonsai website will officially be open to orders from the USA.

General information is available here:

As of May 10 the 2025 Annual Sale will be open to everyone. In addition to what is already listed, I will be adding a few other listings including some hard to find Japanese Maple cultivars:

I recommend singing up to the Canada Bonsai Newsletter which I use for announcements about material availability:

Thank you
CB

Thank you, email message sent.

I'm taking it the minimum order size/processing fee still applies?

Thanks for your interest -- orders any size are possible:

Any idea if things are going to get held up due to the tariff shenanigans and the repeal of the de minimis loophole? I’m a little worried about live plant material being held up and damaged or killed.

No buyer will ever be charged tarrifs or duties, and the trees cannot get held up at the border because they are shipping to you from within the USA. Depending where you are in Maine, I might deliver myself right to your door.
