Thanks guys. Hope it will grow strong in my location.

Damn, that's a mad fist trident right there. Interesting roots indeed.
Wow, never looked at it like that. It does.

Here is the little Shohin.
It had been in this bag for two seasons and has roots coming out of the bottom.

Here is a bigger one that has an air layer ready to harvest. My intention is to chop it at the wire in Feb and start a shorter tree, but it can go for.
$125image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpegit is in a 10"x 12" plastic pot.
I am positive that if I take the air layered part off it will be almost half as must to ship.

Thank you for the quick response. So is it 125 for the whole tree, or after you take off the air layer? Also I'm in NY 11758 how much would shipping be?

Lol didn't realize my uncle fishing on the big elm:). I know I can't afford these but what are the prices?

Maybe start a new thread with more photos and price?

And umm the big elm looks like it has second degree burn. Where's the bark?

They get that real flaky appearance, exposing the orange underneath as they get older... There are a bunch of different varieties of Chinese Elms, but mine does the same thing. The younger ones haven't flaked off the sections of bark yet, and are pretty much all grayish white...

Pretty cool trees Stickroot... That big one is interesting... Elms a,ways seem to get those funky tuberous roots! Man, I'd have a field day on that thing! I'd make a half dozens root cuttings and rework the nebari if it were mine...

Haha! That would be third degree burns if it were the case. The healthier they are the better the bark peels, it's just what they do.
I'll take $120 for either of the smaller ones. The "burn victim" is $550.
