I am using their straight akadama in an equal mix with lava and pumice this year....so far I like it.
Can you tell me how this akadama worked for you? Do you have freezing weather in winters there. Thanks, August

Double line akadama is fine. What you show is a mix of akadama, pumice (hyuga), and lava (kiryu). That is a pretty goo mix for deciduous. Most will add more pumice or lava for conifers. Similar to the Aoki mix,

This is the one i use for my Connifer with no issues. By the way i live in a very hot and dry place so i put more akadama on my connifer mix
