Chamaecyparis pisifera, "Sea of Gold"

Picked up this pisifera at the garden center for about $20. I really dig the shari in the trunk. Hopefully I can make something nice out of it.

I don't intend to do anything with it until next Spring, just keep it alive through the winter.

I only know pfitzer / pfitzeriana junipers with that name, so I'm inclined to ask you if you're sure about the species. Nice find!

As with anything bought at a big box garden center, no, I am not sure about the species!
