Charity Auction for Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan

Well, I just sent Don a payment for one of his trees.

Right now it is just a nice looking trunk because its dormant and needs development on branching, so not much to talk about yet I guess.

If all goes well, it will be featured in a future thread on B-Nut.
:o

Thank You Don. I hope I give it a good home. :)
Ditto, it was supposed to come in today but with the unusual weather around where I live, fedex has said there may be some delay. All should be fine though since the tree is dormant and it's cool.
In case you are not looking for a big bald cypress, I decided to run yet another penny start and no reserve ebay auction for a trident maple.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/181319707393?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

Comes in a 10" training pot.
Stands 20" tall from the soil with 2.25" trunk and 6" nebari.
This would be a good, fun tree for anyone who likes bonsai.

Buy my tree and help me support the Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan. You cannot go wrong!

Bumping this. The auction has about a day left on it. Help a good cause if you can!

I have another charity auction on ebay for a large field-grown trident maple. Here is the link:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/181347457061?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

100% of the auction proceeds will go to The Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan's building fund. As President of the Board of Director's I am working to raise $2,000,000 for a new shelter. I am selling the trident maple and donating the auction proceeds to the building fund.

The tree was grown from seed, then grown in the ground to develop a fat trunk. Its now in a 13" training pot.
It stands 24" tall from the soil with 3.5" trunk and nice nebari.

Please buy my tree. You will get a great trident maple to work on while supporting a fantastic charity.

Visit http://www.humanesocietyswm.org/-/ for more information on The Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan.

Thanks!

I am listing a wild, collected Ponderosa Pine on ebay as a charity auction with 100% of the sale proceeds going to the Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan. Its a fixed price listing with "Buy-it-Now" and "Make Offer" options. Please consider buying my tree for the listed price, or making a reasonable offer.

You can buy a well-established, yamadori ponderosa pine while supporting a fantastic charity!

This tree was collected by Dan W. from Back Country Bonsai in February of 2011.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/181352793979?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

Collected in Wyoming
12"x8.5"x3.5" pot
It has a 8" nebari, 4.5" trunk base, 2.5" trunk above the base and 1.5" trunk @ 1st branch.
Great trunk movement, excellent bark. Lots of potential for a show tree.
One of the main early branches doubles back on the trunk and can form the whole apex by removing/jinning the trunk above it.
No telling how old, but its very old, with loads of character.

Thank you,
Don
