Got this on two flowering cherries. The leaves got crispy around the edges then turn yellow and fall off. Looks like some kind of fungus. Does anyone know what it is and how to treat it?

I'm still new myself. I'm not sure if it is a fungus but it could be too much or too little water. I get leaf spots when I mist them too much. I usually cut any leaves that I'm not sure about just in case. You wouldn't want it to spread if it is a fungus. I would do a process of elimination, start with the watering. Buying a fungicide wouldn't hurt I guess, good to have on hand anyways. You should also do a search on it, you might find something simular on another thread. I did a quick one for you and it looks like watering habits

It seems likely that your problem is fungal. I would remove the affected leaves and spray a fungicide such as Daconyl. A systemic might be a good idea, but I have no specific recommendation. Meanwhile, consult a Texas A&M extension.
