Collected spring 2023. Evenly spread large 11-12” base with buttresses that run up high. Beautiful tapered tree that will be developed as an up right.

The apex was chopped. I am looking for a new bud to come out near the side branch cut site. That will the new apex. Chop mark is healing nicely.

New apex developed halfway up the chopped top and trained up right. Then the part above the new apex was pruned away today.
