Collected privet trunk chop

I collected this privet from a doomed landscape recently. How far down should I complete the trunk chop? I’m thinking below that primary on the right that’s already cut to get rid of that knuckle and reverse taper. Should I put an angle on the cut slanting up towards the hollowed trunk?
