Last summer I brought back this Maple? (think it is) from my cabin upnorth just for the heck of it to see if it would make the move. I planted it in my ground growing area and forgot about it till just today. I looked and not only did it survive, but it is pushing out a lot of new growth down low. I'm not much of a deciduous tree guy so I don't know about them so figured I would ask here. I know the leaves will never be bonsai type small, but from the pics is this worth doing anything with down the road? Should I just leave it as is for a few years or anything I should do now to help it along?
