I take it these grow without much in the way of roots. Some interesting trunks there, keep us posted on the developement.
 
the bougainvillea will root, no problem. they actually produce a better rootball in a pot than in the ground. hibiscus I have no experience with. judging by how easily cuttings root, I believe they will grow. this is the last of the bougainvillea - a purple. trimmed and planted today.

oct. 6, 2010, was the day 6 trees - three bougainvillea and 3 hibiscus in the "supersize" post were collected. today, three months later, all 6 are growing like crazy.

first - a picture of the big purple just planted in a plastic crate - followed by a couple of photos taken today. before and after pruning . I have the branches I want. just need to let them grow.
