Hi all,
I recently received this Cryptomeria Japonica Rasen from a friend who gave it to me (after I helped him out with something) because it has the name "Japonica" in it, and he knows I like trees and Japanese things
It's already quite tall, but I've read these CJR's grow quite rapidly.
I'm looking for some advice from people with more experience in what my best approach is here. My wish is to turn it into a beautiful bonsai of course, but I would also like to salvage what I cut off if at all possible.
Someone with experience with this species might tell me more about it, what to do best, what not to do, any advice welcome!
For the moment I'm not doing much with it, I might transfer it to a slightly bigger/heavier pot for more support but keeping the original soil on it for now.
Thanks!!
