I commissioned this table from a friend of mine, for the tree I have going in the US Exhibition next month... It's solid walnut, and finished with tung oil. The craftsman went through a lot of effort to do interesting and subtle lines on the table. The rails are gently arched to match... and his makers mark is a Tt (for Top Tier).. and he inlaid a carved tear drop of tiger eye into the bottom of the table.

Artisan/Craftsman - Gene Cartwright of Port Orchard, WA USA

Size: 19 inches square - 7 1/2 inches tall

I'd say Top Tier is top of the line! Beautiful!

Very very nice. Subtle...

I still pinch myself whenever I look at it... if one can't have a table by Smoke... this is a very well made second. Al advised me on what to have made... and for that I am profoundly grateful.

Glad you guys enjoyed it... I'm going to see about putting it all together before she goes...

The storage box is being made for it at this point as well... So that's a bonus that's yet to come.

Kindest regards,

Victrinia

Very nice! I'm looking for to seeing it with the tree.
Working for a Woodworking company, it also makes me want to get out of the office, get back out in the shop and make something

I makes my heart all warm and fuzzy to know there are still many craftsmen of this quality in the US... :D

Go build something Fang... it'll be good for yah. ;)

This table was not made by Al.... since he refuses to make them for anyone (ok maybe there is just a huge line).. this was made by a craftsman friend of ours locally.... Al did however consult on the size....

I think time is the biggest factor, compounded by the line... ;)

I still have my heart set on having an Al table to be sure... one of these days... :D
