Looking to buy some Andersen flats. I’d only need 5 or so. But it seems you must order in bulk to get them? And the shipping gets pricey? Do these look comparable to Anderson flats? 249546

I just received a quote from Stuewe and Sons and they want $88.00 to ship 10 AFLT5s and a case of AB34s. to Ohio. That's as much as the products!!!
WTF?

That is the problem. Buy more so you can justify the cost of shipping.

Yeah, find a buddy and split them, last year 20 cost me just under 7$each

Check with a hydroponics store by you to see if they can get them from one of their distributors to save the shipping cost.
Have you done that? At one point, anderson was expecting to have an east coast distributor but that doesn't seem to have panned out.

I found these individual trays for sale at the local garden store, for worm compost bins. They are 2” narrower, but an inch taller and have mesh bottom.

That seems strange. You sure it’s not 88.00 for total price?
I just got a quote of $59.00 for 10 shipped to Seattle. The price is 3.75 each before shipping?
For me 6-8 each is still worth it.
Actually I don’t what a case of AB34s look like. Must be those. The aflt5s should be under 8.00 shipped
