One thing I am damn sure of, is i'm very glad I wont be seeing that woman's face on TV anymore. Man I was worried I would come to hate America if I was forced to see any more of her after this campaign.....:mad: She is the devil in disguise. Better him than her for me....!!!

Yes, but most Politicians who promise stuff, don't get it done due to having to face opposition from folks on the other side... Big Difference!

As though it is some Cool "Badge of Honor"...

So, in 2010 Folks here in America got a who slew of People the Weren't "Politicians"... and it worked out Awesome!

I particularly liked the Part about "Shutting the Government Down"... Then Whining over not being able to go to a War Memorial... Folks in the Military not being able to get Pay, Employees of the Government not being be able to get Paid... like the Senate Security Cops who quite literally put their lives on the line protecting these same Ass Clowns... a week later when some crazy lady started raming the gates of the Senate with her car, while not recieving a pay check... Definitely an Erkle Moment. .. "Did I Do That?"

The best part was when some of these Douche-bags... started saying things like "Why should I have to do such-and-such "... Not even knowing that it was quite literally part of their "Job Criteria"... to do exactly what it was they were complain about!

The Freaking Idiots took a Job they didn't even know what they hell was required of the Job... and what it was they were supposed to be doing!!!

So... Pardon me if I laugh at anyone who would possibly think this is a good idea!

If I need to go to the Doctor... I sure as Shit am not going to seek out some Ass Clown that does not even know the first thing about being a Doctor!

Agreed. Same with politicians. You never believe a word they say, nor get caught up in the nitty, shitty little games they play. You vote for the one most likely to fulfill your needs. At this moment it seems to me what America is in need of, is economic upliftment.
He sure is a douche but has the most potential to lead the country to some of those. With the underhanded woman the writing was on the wall right from the start...... More Of The Same.

Nothing stops....I'm still getting service calls from the treasury during a so-called govt shutdown...
It's all theatrics....which means it's all bs.
I love it when they say "only essential personnel will be reporting for duty."
If we only need the essential personnel to keep shit running, then fire everyone else!
That's one way to drain the swamp....
The fed is the largest employer in the country...that's a problem.
I've been in so many govt buildings during shutdowns and sequesters, nothing stops, they don't even turn the lights off.

So... no actual "Will of the American People" with this outcome.

And I highly suspect you will hear their voice loud and clear, over the length of his term, and rightfully so. It is funny though... Seeing Trump and his supporters are always talking about how they want to take back Washington and give the people their voice again... but have no problem with a voting system that does not support their will, regardless of who the winner might be... actually a bit hypocritical, to be honest.

Based on what I'm seeing so far...I doubt that will be the case. I think it's more likely that he winds up causing world war 3, or a full blown trade war that takes the economy down. But we'll see. I'm trying to be optimistic but the weight of evidence is tough to overcome.

So you did not want to see those workers at Carrier get their jobs back?? yeah I know you will probably have some sort of sour grapes about that on that one especially considering that Mr. Trump has not taken office as yet. Trump has done more for workers just by saying he will do so, and that's without the legal authority to do it. Look at the stock market.

Yeah, Trump won, I am not happy about it believe me. NONE of the choices made me happy but Trump was the worst one for me. Until he proves me wrong anyway.

Unless the electoral collage changes their vote on the 19th (highly unlikely) we are stuck with him for the next 4 years.
The Carrier thing is an encouraging sign for that aspect of things, but the jury is still out on what the rest of his policies are going to bring.

Again, unless the EC changes it, arguing ad-nausium isnt going to change a damn thing at this point.

I'm sure the 1000 or so workers who are keeping their jobs are quite happy. I would think the other 1000+ who are still losing their jobs, might feel differently. As for the deal itself, I'll reserve judgement until all the details are available. Is this a sustainable approach to keeping jobs in America...time will tell.

I'll say that the one encouraging thing I've seen is that Trump is at least saying some of the "right" things (except on Twitter). He is showing some evidence of willingness to change his positions. Well, at least he's paying lip service to some things like keeping parts of Obamacare, climate change/Paris accord, etc. What remains to be seen is whether he'll be able to form and implement logical policy, or whether he'll keep changing his mind based on the last conversation he had.

If that's "sour grapes" to you, then I guess we really do have nothing to talk about.
