Ok, my sister decided to get me a gift. So, she ordered me a Dwarf Pyracantha from Bonsai Outlet. She thought it was a nursery in Mississippi. I helped her with the geography lesson. But, it was a awesome gesture. Her husband is stationed in Texas and we don't see eachother much. So, she got me this to add to my collection.

While in between classes, I've been doing research on them. I guess with my climate, keep soil from drying out & I should be fine? Guess my question is, does anyone on BN work with these? Thanks for reading....

Definitely! I dug this one from Pass Christian, in '05 just before Katrina. It sits outside all year. With the flower buds forming, it will want lots of water. Have fun.

It's this one. Check the link in post 2 for the development thread...

Yup I do as well If you want it to stay small keep it in the container you have it in or a little larger to help with development. If you want it to get bigger transplant it in to a much larger container and fertilize it and keep soil moist these like to drink and resist cutting it and watch it go. Like the ball it looks to be a possible bumblebee or a bumblebee desert??

I'm going to airlayer 2 big pieces out of my parents firethorn bush, they will be great. I love them.
