Presumably others here enjoy growing more than just trees?
Here's something I just setup to give me something to watch grow over the winter months and to satisfy the craving for fresh greens.
Rain gutters mounted on my sunniest wall just as they would be mounted on an eve. Growing media is pure perlite, water is poured into the upper side of the higher gutter and excess is caught in a pot on the floor under a downspout.
This is the first crop, seems to be working well enough.
Very quick and easy setup, I had the gutters in my garage already, from inspiration to installation about 45 mins 20 of which were spent searching for the cordless drill.
