The CIA director was making all the rookie mistakes with a pretty awesome buttonwood gifted from the UAE--humidity tray of sorts, plugging up the air conditioning, etc. Had the sense to turn to the experts for help. BTW, this is one of the best articles I've read in the mainstream press about what bonsai are, how they're cared for and other details. Way to go Bjorn Bjorholm, Bogan Bonsai and Bill Jagoe. The bug line at the end is pretty funny-in a bonsai sort of way.
