My daughters’s father in law sent me these pictures from a Chrysanthemum Festival. I’m not a really big chrysanthemum person, but this one is pretty awesome. Guess it could be considered a bonsai.

Hated to see this Hibiscus, 2 feet across, die so I brought it in the house for the winter where it's blooming like crazy in front of our Bow Window.

More camellias, Shishigashira white and October Magic Ruby. At this moment, I think that all of my camellias except one are blooming, quite a lovely show.

So this is actually Drosera Spathulata not Intermedia, I had it written down wrong.

From my limited experience with these the flowers seem to only open for a couple hours before they start to close, and just one or two at a time.

Sure is dismal out there today. On a brighter note. Things are super early this year. Winter jasmine and camellia.

Neighbor had this Bougainvillea by her front porch which is on the north side of her house. Was always in constant shade. Grew really well, but hadn’t bloomed in four years. I kept telling her the soil was staying to wet in the shade and it needed more sun. She moved it to the back yard where it gets full sun two months ago. Now, It’s about to explode with its first flush of red blooms all over it. Amazing how well they do when you give them what they need.
