Every year at the end of winter I often ask myself what will I be focusing on this year, bonsai related.
Bonsai is a hobby that requires time and money. Time... I can manage by better planning or get up a bit early each day but not money. I also wanted to have some cash from the hobby to support my hobby.
All the work that am doing today will not generate any money until probably 5 years later. By then the kids should be old enough to fix their own dinner.
So what will I be focusing on.... propagation.
- 30 JBP that I got from Eric (bonsaify)
- 7 trays of Chinese quince cuttings
- 7 Chinese quince Air layering

Cutting is no good. Too hot and I didn't bag them. Maybe 3 large ones might make it as they still pretty perky.
Harvest the black apples today. Two bridged over that need to recut. CQ callus quite large. Five look good.
