Here's a couple of photos: Jonas is referencing the top crown as it is swirling to a future more compact form.

This 'ole gal was at Jonas Dupuich's decandling workshop on June14th. Needs a little more wiring and final pluck of the long last year's needles. I am planning on making a pot that is a bunjin nail keg very simple yet crude.

The bark on those branches is wonderful! Love the trunk line and the new inclination too.

here's a couple of images of the new pot I created that is still warm from the kiln....and a super imposed image of the tree. Plan on this for next Spring and will adjust the branches upward on the RH side and downward on the left hand side accordingly. Jonas Dupuich gave me in one session answers to needle length that I've struggled with for years....after many sessions with the likes of Susumu Nakamura, Chase Rosade, H Tomlinson, Valavanis's magazines...et al....
The tree is now the example for the collection. All will follow the guidelines he set forth for needle reduction. Wow, what a revelation!25Nov JBP Lains copy.jpg
Now I'll pull the left side branches down a bit and the right hand side up and flatten them out as well as let them extend a tad.
