Giant Trident Maple

A few weeks ago, I got this maple from @Vin . It is awesome. Today I finally had chance to take a good look at it and start formulating a plan for it.

I am looking forward to working on it. Vince did a really good job of establishing the structure. I am gonna focus on healing a few cuts first.

It's in great hands and I'm really looking forward to the progression under your care. I should have been cutting around those callused areas every year but didn't. I should be drawn and quartered.

No worries, as soon as the leaves drop, I'll clean all the punky wood out and fill with epoxy. Thanks again Vince!
