There used to be a time where we in the USA meant, all people in the USA.

The USA used to be the country of opportunity for all
With open arms for those who wanted a shot at a new life.

In part I understand why certain things are changing. However, I do feel sad at times seeing what is happening. This extreme division between idiologies. All these internal problems, which in part could be reduced by the unifier president. The country lacks so much in current times.

We are very disheartened at how ignorant the media and large segment of the country lost a dully elected president. The last admin and our tax $ spent wasted years trying to illegally impeach him for it in fact. Very bad and we see it

Sorry. But I do not think you should get a peace price for entering a country.
It was the first time ever US pres stepped on thwir soil. A rogue extreme sick nation w nuclear ambitions. Iran is awful too. Glad he shredded that deal. We dont fprget the communityless organizer giving pallets of our cash to them in middle of night. They dont deserve anything from us. If anything the middle east owes us oil for trying to help the common folks (power in numvers still dont have the guts for revolution) with structure to reduce the 1 in 20 that bend over or empathize with extreme views or reduce twrrorism, for 20 years. Enough with that Trump is pulli g us out of middle east and has been against the middle east BS for years. 5% is tens of millions if i remeber right too.

Another sign of how far the country has become divided and dug into their own battle lines. Somehow either people say "the guy is a crook" or "This guy is the saviour and the others ar crooks". Somehow, people do not want to look at what is happening. Discussions just go by the party lines.

No matter who I voted for, I personally would be very concerned if you have 13 (?) associates of the president sent to jail or fined for breaking all sorts of laws, and having the whitehouse refuse to release documentation in a legal probe. Add to that that the study did not clear the current POTUS from illegal wrongdoing but only concluded that legally, prosecution was not allowed as it is the POTUS...

In fact, the fact that the POTUS has acces to largest store of ballistics the world has, makes ME very concerned as the consequences from conflicts nowadays are global..

You know that fundamental islamics are saying the same thing about the western world? Agressors, keeping the middle-east down, always bringing war to their families with the main aim to suppress the islam. Christianity is a horribly agrresive religion that needs to be rooted out etcetc.

And how would you feel if a country blocks you ability to trade with the rest of the world over political issues? You would want to defend yourself. Yet the bullies of the world have nuclear weapens. Is it so strange to then ALSO want nuclear weapens? I do not agree we need more nukes. I do understand why some countries want them.

This is the problem of the world. Everybody is within reach, and we stopped talking about the problems we have. Instead rhetoric, blaim, side-picking and agrresion are the tools of the trade. Be it economic, media or military agression.

ALL countries use propaganda. Problem is, we only recognize the propaganda that does not express our ideas.

You can still see it happening today. You only have to look at Syria for that. Assad has exterminated a huge proportion of his population, his own citizens.
Saddam Hussein killed 100s of 1000s of Shia Iraqis, just because they were the wrong faction/religion.


As for the topic at hand, I am a fishery scientist and we are seeing the effects of climate change in our fish populations and aqualtic environments around the world.
The American Fisheries Society along with many other Aquatic Organizations and scientists around the world just published a statement on evidence of climate change from Aquatic systems all over the world. It represents data and observations from the last 20 years or so.

However I suspect it will just be refuted as "fake science" by the science deniers here but I have seen it happening myself in my local populations and the data my agency has collected over the past 30 years.

Link states a 90% loss of reefs by mid century? I have to say, that seems a little drastic. Theres a meta analysis of predicted loss of diversity I read for a seminar, and of the included studies 90% loss was one of, if not the most significant loss predicted. So to only quote 90%, and not a range of say 30-90%, I feel is misleading. Time will tell, though. At the same time I have also read papers comparing coral reef bleaching to forest fires.... 🤔
Theoretically, sure- expulsion of zoox and the reintroduction of different classes of zoox is absolutely a useful tactic (there's a reason they've evolved to do so) however it doesn't seem like the zoox can change as fast as some of the shifting ocean waters are. Coral larvae have been observed collecting zoox from the environment in addition to receiving them from the parent colony, so really their survival depends on the rate of change in zoox and available classes. Im hopeful there's potential here.


Poleward shifts, changes in species composition, changes in habitat depth, etc all are absolutely undeniable. Question is how much is directly anthropogenic. We have already ruined freshwater ecosystems since the late 1800s early 1900s, starting with dams and overfishing. When adult female sturgeons can go for $600,000 what would we expect?

we wont ever be a socialist country or bend over to evil in the world. were the model of quality-life in this mad world, for the people. that doesnt come cheap and as i said it needs to be protected and promoted. like DT, im not for 20 years trying to help those people anymore, enough is enough. id have done something after watching people 3 hours from me melt and jump to their deaths at WTC, but not for 20 years, just a few buttons as long as we could salvage the oil.

Ok so a couple things... playing Devil’s advocate and getting us to think a litTle differently.

1.It seems like (Could be wrong) we don’t have any non-American supporters of Trump... I wonder why that is?

2. Presidential contenders should have to beat current President in bare-knuckle boxing.

3.If you’ve watched sunsets in the less inhabited areas of the world and THEN watched them in MAJOR “hubs”... you’d KNOW that our emissions DEFINITELY effect our atmosphere... how much?.. you tell me.
