Galls are usually from an insect that bites the plant and forces it to make a protective growth. While not directly feeding on the plant, the abnormal growth must interfere with normal leaf function. A few affected leaves should not harm the plant but if it gets to the stage of affecting more leaves that will reduce the plant's ability to make food and harvest energy.
I would enjoy the uniqueness of just a few affected leaves but keep an eye out that it does not dominate.
