CAN WE GET BACK ON TOPIC IN REGARDS TO THE MYRTLE..

I'm no pro but it's no boxwood (boxwood is evergreen (non-conifer) and has tiny leaves), when did u pot it, perhaps if it's strong you could chop it (grow is fat and chop it low).?

To be honest, it's very hard to say what it is from those pictures. Def not boxwood.

It is very very hard to ID most trees without leaves on them.

@Jarod Perdichizzi - there is a long running joke on this forum, where the answer to everything becomes ''foemina'' as in Juniper chinensis var foemenia. The joke initially started in a thread about identifying a tree. ''Foemina'' was an absurd guess at the time. The joke evolved to throwing in ''foemina'' in any thread just to be absurd. when more leaves have opened, post a few more pictures. It is hard to guess with leaves only partially expanded. A picture of a fully expanded leaf would really help.

When it has some full leafs on it please post a close up and also of the bark. I am guessing it probably does by now and would be most helpful to see them!
